What every install has in common
Whether you’re doing a front 6-pot or the rear 4-pot, the rough sequence is the same. Knock out one step before moving to the next, torque to spec, and don’t skip the bedding-in procedure.
1. Lift & secure
Two-post lift if you’ve got it; otherwise jack stands on the frame rail pinch points. Both wheels off the axle you’re working on — you don’t want to do one side at a time.
2. Remove OE caliper, bracket, and rotor
Pop the brake line banjo, hang the OE caliper out of the way (don’t let it dangle on the line), unbolt the OE bracket, slide off the rotor.
3. Mount the new bracket
Ours bolts directly to the OE knuckle holes — no shimming. Torque to the value on the included card.
4. Mount the rotor and caliper
Two-piece rotor slips over the hub. Caliper bolts to the new bracket. Don’t forget to install the new pads before mounting the caliper.
5. Connect and bleed the lines
The included stainless lines are pre-bent for OE routing. Banjo bolt, fluid, bleed each corner from outboard to inboard.
6. Bed the pads
See the bedding-in page for the full procedure. Don’t skip this — it sets the pad transfer layer that lets the brakes work properly long-term.
