SparksCustomParts (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates sparkscustomparts.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you place an order we collect your name, shipping address, billing address, email, and phone number. Payment information (credit card details) is collected and processed directly by Stripe — we do not see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may collect device information such as browser type, IP address, pages visited, and time spent on those pages. We may also place cookies in your browser to remember your cart contents and saved configurations.
Information from third parties. If you complete a purchase, Stripe shares limited payment confirmation data with us (transaction amount, payment status, and the last four digits of your card).
How we use your information
- To process and fulfill your orders, including shipping and payment
- To communicate about your order (shipping notifications, receipts, tracking)
- To respond to customer support requests
- To improve the Site, including troubleshooting, analytics, and security
- To comply with legal obligations such as tax reporting
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with parties that need it to perform services for us, including:
- Stripe — processes your payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight providers) — receive your shipping address to deliver your order.
- Hostinger — hosts our website infrastructure.
- Cloudflare — provides edge networking and security for the Site.
- Tax authorities — when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your rights and choices
You may request that we provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@sparkscustomparts.com. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete that information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of that information (we do not sell or share personal information).
EU/UK residents: under GDPR, you may also request data portability and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies and tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser localStorage) to remember your cart contents, saved builds, and other preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site may not function correctly without them.
If we add analytics tools in the future (e.g., Google Analytics or Plausible Analytics) we will update this policy.
Data retention
We retain order information for as long as required by tax and consumer-protection laws (generally seven years in the United States). We retain cart contents and saved configurations until you clear them or 12 months pass without activity, whichever comes first.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email if we have your contact information on file.
