Returns Policy

Last updated: May 2026

All sales are final. Every brake kit and wheel set we sell is built to your specification — calipers, rotor size, rotor style, brand, diameter, width, offset, and finish are all configured per order. Because every kit is made to order, we don’t accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change-of-mind reasons.

The exceptions below cover the situations where we will step in: manufacturing defects, freight damage, and order errors on our end.

Manufacturing defects — covered under warranty

If a product develops a manufacturing defect within the 1-year warranty period, we’ll repair or replace it at our discretion. This includes warped rotors not caused by improper bedding, leaking calipers, peeling finish from the factory, structurally compromised wheels, and similar issues attributable to fabrication.

To start a warranty claim, email support@sparkscustomparts.com with your order ID, photos of the issue, and a brief description of what happened. We’ll respond within one business day.

Freight damage

If a shipment arrives damaged, you must note “damaged” on the BOL when you sign for it, photograph the damage before opening any packaging, and email us within 48 hours. This is required for us to file a freight claim with the carrier. If you sign clean for a damaged shipment, we cannot file a claim and the damage is not covered.

Once we have your photos and a noted BOL, we’ll handle the freight claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you.

Order errors on our end

If we ship the wrong kit, the wrong rotor size, the wrong finish, or anything else that doesn’t match what you ordered, that’s on us. Email support@sparkscustomparts.com with photos and your order ID. We’ll cover the return shipping and either rebuild the correct product or refund you in full — your choice.

What we don’t accept

  • Change-of-mind returns. Once a build is paid for, production starts. We can’t resell a custom kit to anyone else, so we don’t accept returns for buyer’s remorse, color regret, or any other change of mind.
  • Installed kits. Once a kit has been bolted to a vehicle, it cannot be returned (warranty coverage still applies for manufacturing defects).
  • Fitment issues caused by non-standard modifications. Our kits are designed and tested for the 2020–2026 Ford Explorer ST in factory configuration. If you’ve lifted, lowered, swapped wheels outside spec, or otherwise modified the vehicle in a way that affects fitment, we can’t cover the result.
  • Wear items. Pads, lines, fluid, hardware that’s been used — not returnable.

Order cancellations

You can cancel within 24 hours of placing the order for a full refund — just email us before production starts. After 24 hours your kit has likely already gone into the queue and we can’t cancel without losing the materials and labor already spent on it.

Exchanges

We don’t offer exchanges. If you want a different kit or finish after placing your order, contact us within the 24-hour cancellation window and we’ll cancel and re-build at the new spec.

How refunds are issued (when applicable)

Refunds for the exceptions listed above are issued back to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, the refund can take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
